In Ringo 001 you talked about a record hunt - from rural LA to Baton Rouge. Ringo 002 really put this into perspective & got me thinking about how/why I collect vinyl. I've been on a spree over the last couple of weeks - i found 12 of my top 20 most wanted vinyls in less than a week. Thanks for making me question my life choices, Capitan Queso! Keep the Ringo coming.
I've thought about getting a turntable again (yes, I'm currently turntable-less). But, instead of a DJ thing to play lots of records, I would use it like 'entertainment furniture' -- in the living room, and then I'd have a limited — on purpose — selection of albums, like my favorite 20 albums. And then, when the mood strikes as I go about my day I put on one of those albums to soundtrack the house. I like the idea of this, and it gets deeper into my favorite music, rather than the eternal sampling of music that streaming encourages.

A forced slowdown. Challenge accepted.
